2024 British Triathlon Super Series Results

Youth A 

Darcy Gladwell won the Female Youth A category. She started the season in April finishing sixth at the Performance Assessments before coming ninth in Llanelli. Back-to-back wins at Mallory Park Heats and Finals and the South Aquathlon moved her up the podium. She then finished second at the Eton Eliminator in the penultimate round of the season. Her final result of the season, that clinched the overall win, was fifth at the Grand Final.  

Zara Jones was a close second having started the season ninth at the Performance Assessments and 15th in Llanelli. She was on the top step of the podium at the North Aquathlon with her first win of the season, before back-to-back fourth place finishes followed. She won on the final day of the season to cement second place behind Gladwell.  

The podium was completed by Betsy Jones, who was a race winner on two occasions. She was seventh in the opening round of the season before picking up her first win in Llanelli. She followed that up with three consecutive visits to the podium, finishing second and third at the North Aquathlon and Mallory Heats and Finals before winning Eton Eliminator. At the Grand Final she was seventh.  

In the Open Youth A category, William Birchall was first overall. His campaign started with fourth at the Performance Assessments. He then won in Llanelli before coming ninth at Mallory Heats and Finals. Third at the South Aquathlon earnt him a haul of points before he narrowly missed out on another podium at Eton Eliminator, coming fourth. The season ended with eighth at the Grand Final earning him the overall series win.  

Finlay Goodman won the Grand Final to end the season in second place. His year started with a top ten spot at the Performance Assessments, crossing the line in ninth. His first podium was at Llanelli, where he came third, followed by sixth and eighth place finishes at Mallory Park Heats and Finals and the South Aquathlon, respectively. He then cemented second place in the championship with a win in the final round.  

Isreal Nobel came from 26th at the Performance Assessments to make the overall podium thanks to a string of top ten finishes. After coming outside the top twenty at the start of the season, he was fourth in Llanelli in round two. Nobel followed this with a ninth at the North Aquathlon before back-to-back podiums moved him up the rankings. He was third at Mallory Park Heats and Finals before going one better at Eton Eliminator. Seventh at the Grand Final cemented his spot on the podium.  

Youth B  

Anna Patterson raced her way to four consecutive podium finishes, including three wins, as she won the Female Youth B Category. Her season started with an eighth-place finish at the Performance Assessments. She was then seventh at Llanelli and Mallory Park Heats and Finals before picking up her first win of the season at Mallory Park Sprint. Patterson was on the podium again at the South Aquathlon, coming second, before confirming the series win with back-to-back victories at Eton Eliminator and the Grand Final.  

Second place went to double race winner Patience Lamb. She was fifth at the Performance Assessments and fourth in Llanelli as she started the season strongly. Her two wins came in the next two races as she took maximum points from the North Aquathlon and Mallory Park Heats and Finals. She was fourth at the Eton Eliminator before coming third at the Grand Final. 

Annabelle Souter was third overall with four visits to the podium in as many races. She kicked off the season with wins at the Performance Assessments and Llanelli. Her final two points scoring races were second place finishes at Mallory Park Heats and Finals and Mallory Park Sprint.  

Five consecutive podium finishes earnt Alex Boyer top spot in the Open Youth B Category. He was fifth at the opening round of the season before picking up his first podium of the season at Llanelli. He then won the North Aquathlon, which was followed by second place finishes at Mallory Park Heats and Finals, Eton Eliminator and the Grand Final as he earnt the overall win.  

Maximus Murray started his season with ninth at Mallory Park Heats and Finals before claiming second place at Mallory Park Sprint. Murray then took maximum points from the South Aquathlon and finished second place overall thanks to two third place finishes at the Eton Eliminator and the Grand Final.

Third place went to Reuben Wadey by just two points . He was on the podium at the Performance Assessments finishing third before coming sixth at Llanelli. His placed on the series podium was confirmed with back to back wins at Eton Eliminator and the Grand Final. 

Junior  

Never finishing outside of the podium places helped Millie Breese secure the overall win in the Female Junior category. She won the Performance Assessments before coming third at Llanelli. Two second place finishes at the North Aquathlon and Mallory Park Heats and Finals gave her a points haul that kept her at the top of the standings. Breese then picked up her second victory of the season as she took maximum ranking points at the Eton Eliminator. Her overall win was confirmed at the Grand Final where she finished fourth.  

Isla Hedley was a close second with two race wins to her name. She was second in Llanelli before winning the North Aquathlon. Her third race of the season at Mallory Park Heats and Finals saw her finish fourth before returning to the top step of the podium at the Grand Final.  

Third place went to Helena Coy. She started the season a runner-up at the Performance Assessments before a run of top ten finishes helped her make the overall series podium. Sixth at Llanelli, Coy then narrowly missed out of the podium at the North Aquathlon, finishing fourth. She was fifth at Mallory Park Heats and Finals before ending the season with a fourth-place finish at the Grand Final. 

In the Open Junior Category, Oliver Conway won four races on his way to the series title. Fifth at the Performance Assessments he followed up with his first win of the season in Llanelli. Conway came fourth at Mallory Park Heats and Finals, before a strong end to the season secured him the overall win. He won Mallory Park Sprint and the Eton Eliminator. Conway then wrapped up the season with a third straight win at the Grand Final to stand on the top step of the series podium. 

Second place went to Deri McCluskey, who shared the podium with Conway on four occasions during the season. McCluskey kicked off the year with second at the Performance Assessments and was second again in Llanelli. Fifth at Mallory Park Heats and Finals, he returned to the podium in the next round coming third at Mallory Park Sprint. Two second places in a row at Eton Eliminator and the Grand Final ended his season as he finished, second overall.  

Luke Holmes rounded off the podium. He was fourth at the Performance Assessments and then seventh at Llanelli. He was second at both the Mallory Park Heats and Finals and the South Aquathlon. Holmes’ season ended with fourth at the Grand Final.  

Senior   

Issy Hayes was the Female Senior winner. Her season began with a fifth-place finish at Mallory Heats and Finals before she won Mallory Sprint. Back-to-back second place finishes at the Eton Eliminator and the Grand Final confirmed her series win.  

Katie Rodda, who won the opening round of the season, was second overall. She followed up her win in Llanelli with sixth at Mallory Heats and Finals. Second at Mallory Sprint saw Rodda return to the podium where she remained at the Grand Final as she crossed the line in third.  

Third place went to Maisie Aubrey. She was third in Llanelli and 11th at Mallory Heats and Finals. She finished inside the top ten for the remainder of the season coming seventh and fifth respectively at Mallory Sprint and the Grand Final. 

A win at the Grand Final saw Benjamin Cumberland take the overall win in the Open Senior category. He started the season seventh at Llanelli and finished 11th at Mallory Park Heats and Finals. Mallory Sprint was his first podium finish of the season as he crossed the line third before a win at the Grand Final gave him the overall series win.  

Sam Hart was a close second. He was the race winner on the opening day of the season in Llanelli before coming sixth at Mallory Sprint. Fourth at the Grand Final saw him take the runner up spot overall.  

Third place went to Jack Stanton-Stock. After coming 13th in Llanelli, he won Mallory Heats and Finals in round two. His next race saw him finish fourth at Mallory Sprint before he came seventh at Eton Eliminator. In the Grand Final he was 15th.  

ParaTri 

James Bilham was the winner in the Open PTWC category. His season started with second in Swansea before a fourth-place finish at Eton Dorney. He won the Grand Final to take the overall win. Luke Applegate was second having never finished off the podium. He won the opening round at Oulton Park and picked up consecutive podium finishes at Llanelli and Eton Dorney. Darren Williams was third overall. He was third at both Llanelli and Eton Dorney, either side of a win in Swansea. 

Dave Ellis was the winner in the Open PTVI category. Racing three times this season he won all three races to take the series win. Nathaniel Costigan was second. He won twice this season in Llanelli and Swansea with two more podium finishes coming at Oulton Park and Eton Dorney. He was also fourth at the Grand Final. Harry Hughes ended the season third. He was second at Oulton Park and third in Swansea before securing third at the Grand final in his third podium finish of the season.  

In the Female PTVI race Sophie Green claimed the series win. She won at Oulton Park and Swansea before confirming her series victory with a third win of the season at Eton Dorney over a Super Sprint Distance. Gemma Peterman was second overall, having finished second in each of her three races. 

Ethan Dent was the winner in the Open PTS2 category. He won in Oulton Park and Swansea to take maximum points from the first two races of the season. Dent made the podium again at Eton Dorney before winning the Grand Final.  

Michael Fox won the Open PTS4 category. He was second at Oulton Park before back-to-back wins at Llanelli and Swansea took him to the top of the standings. Fox remained on the podium at Eton Dorney as he finished second before winning the Grand Final. Second place went to Colin Wallace with three podium finishes. He won Oulton Park before coming second in Swansea and third at Eton Dorney. Josh Garrett completed the podium. He finished third in his first race of the season in Swansea and was off the podium at Eton Dorney as he finished fourth. His final race of the season saw him third at the Grand Final.  

Oliver Scott was the Open PTS5 winner. He took the win at Oulton Park and followed it up with a win in Swansea. He was second at Eton Dorney before winning the Grand Final. Tom Barnard was a close second. He won in Llanelli before coming second in Swansea. Barnard was a race winner again at Eton Dorney before coming second at the Grand Final. Third place went to Florian Combe with five third place finishes to his name, having raced in every round of the season.
