The Senior Super Series Selection policy, below, will be used to determine race starts for the 2023 season (the policy listed below will be updated prior to the 2023 season launch). The Performance Assessment weekend will be used to determine the order of entry for senior athletes who do not qualify for a Tier 1 start via their World Triathlon ranking or previous Super Series results. For more information on the selection process for the series, please refer to the documents below.
Please note, some senior athletes will have to attend the Performance Assessment Weekend. Participants will take part in a swim time-trial and separate run-bike timed event, with the results determining the order of entry for athletes who do not have a World Triathlon ranking in the top 300 or top 10 Senior Super Series result from the 2022 British Triathlon Super Series. More information on the 2023 Performance Assessment Weekend can be found here.
In a further update for the 2023 season, spaces for Age-Group athletes will be provided at a number of Senior Super Series legs. Further details will be announced shortly.
Athletes who have finished two or more previous Senior Super Series events, or are members of the eight British Triathlon affiliated Training Centres of Bath, Birmingham, Cardiff, Eastbourne, Leeds, Loughborough, Nottingham and Stirling, or have competed in the 2022 Junior Super Series can register as Senior athletes. All other athletes who wish to take part should register as Age-Group athletes.
International athletes are also invited to take part in the events and should email superseries@britishtriathlon.org if they wish to apply to do so.
To be eligible, participants must be a current British Triathlon Home Nation member. You may be asked to prove your membership when entering and registering at the individual races on the series at the request of the event organiser. Please ensure that your membership record is up to date and that all information on it is correct, entering each race with your name as it appears on your membership card.
