ABOUT THE EVENT

For youth and junior triathletes, the season kicks off with the two-day Performance Assessments.

For this year’s event the format will be as follows for ALL age groups

• Saturday – 400m pool swim – Nottingham University
• Sunday – 10km bike/ 3km run (pursuit format) – Kendrew Barracks

Any senior athletes who did not compete in the 2025 series, or finished outside of the top 20 overall at a 2025 Super Series event, must attend the performance assessments weekend. It is also recommended that any athletes who finished between 10th and 20th at a 2025 Super Series event, also attend the Performance Assessments Weekend.

Performance Assessment Weekend

Before competing in the Performance Assessment Weekend, all non-academy athletes will need to attend a cycling training session with their relevant Regional Academy. More information regarding this can be found on the Performance Assessment page.

All Youth and Junior athletes wishing to race in the 2026 Super Series are required to attend the Performance Assessment weekend. Participants will take part in a swim time-trial and separate run-bike timed event, with the results carrying series points as well as allocating athletes their initial rankings for the series.

• Unfortunately no dogs are allowed at Kendrew Barracks, including in cars. Assistance and guide dogs are welcome.
