She was third out of the water before putting in the joint fastest run time to cross the line seven seconds clear of the competition. Betsy North, who had been the earlier leader after the 800m swim, came second with Scarlett Hutchinson-Thompson third.

Gladwell made it a clean sweep of wins in the third race. She had an eight-second lead after the 300m swim and managed to hold onto her advantage across the run to take another win. Behind her Emma Graham-Brown recorded the fastest run time of the race to finish just seven seconds behind Gladwell, despite starting the 2km run 27 seconds back. Holly Humphreys finished third for her first podium of the day.

Chirnside was again quickest in the water in race two as he led out of transition. However, on the run White won the sprint for the line, taking victory by five seconds. As with race one, Birchall took the third spot on the podium.
The third Youth A race followed the same format as the previous two. Chirnside was out of the water with a six second advantage but as the run moved up to 2km he dropped down the order. This time White was the second quickest on the run and took a second win of the day. Behind him Birchall took second while Chirnside just pipped Finlay Goodman for third place in a photo finish.

Maximus Murray was the winner in race one of the Youth B Open category. He was amongst the leaders after the swim and took the lead on the run to win by just three seconds from James Trevithick. Henry Birchall was a further three second back in third.
The second race saw Birchall climb the standings from race one to take the win. He was the leader after the swim and held onto his advantage thanks to the second quickest run time over 2km. Behind him Murray recorded the joint quickest run time to climb his way up to second while Trevithick crossed the line in third.
Two new faces made the top three in the final race of the day. Charles Brook, who exited the water 12 seconds off the lead, was the only triathlete to complete the 3km run in under nine minutes as he ran his way to victory. He got the better of Murray in a sprint finish as the race one winner came second. Finley Bruce was the second new face on the podium as he rounded off the top three.

Maddie Rae won by 15 seconds in the opening race of the Junior Female category. She came out of the water with a 21 second advantage, which she held onto across the run leg. Eloisa Symonds was next across the line; four seconds clean of Charly Marshall in third.
The top three were separated by just four seconds in race two with Marshall claiming the win in a sprint finish. She was one of six triathletes that came out of the 500m swim within 10 seconds of each other, and thanks to the fastest run time of the race she climbed up the standings to sprint clear for the win. Symonds was second as she pipped Talia Hughes at the line by just one second.
Marshall was more comfortable in race three as she finished 10 seconds clear of the competition. It was much closer behind her with Anna Jolliffe out-sprinting Katie Youp for second place with the duo separated by just one second at the line, after being neck and neck for the majority of the 3km run leg.

In the Junior Open Category Luke Holmes came away with the win in race one. He exited the water with a four second lead over second place Thomas Dixon before putting in the second fastest run time of the race to cross the line with a 13 second lead. Behind him Dixon dropped down to third as he was overtaken by Johnny James on the run.
James, as was the case in race one, put in the fastest run time of the race on his way to taking top spot in race two. He exited the water in fourth, eight seconds off leader Dixon, and while Dixon dropped down the order James recorded the only sub-six-minute run time of the race to finish 16 seconds clear. Christo Chilton was next over the line as he out sprinted Holmes to decide the other two podium places.
His run speed helped James take his second win of the day in the third and final race. He was 13 seconds off the pace after the 300m swim but was quickest on the 3km run by almost 20 seconds as he ran his way to victory. It was a repeat of race two behind him as Chilton again narrowly pipped Holmes for second place, with the duo separated by just three seconds.
