Super Series returns for 2025 with exciting new venues confirmed

12/02/2025

Youth, Junior and Senior triathletes, as well as paratriathletes, are racing to be on the top step of the podium come the Grand Final. For 2025, the series will visit exciting new venues, with Cardiff and Bristol confirmed as new events on the calendar.

For Youth and Junior triathletes, the season kicks off with the two-day Performance Assessments weekend on 29 and 30 March. Racing over two days, the swim part of the race takes place at the University of Nottingham before the bike and run legs are completed the next day at Kendrew Barracks. Any Senior athletes that haven’t met the automatic selection criteria, need to attend in order to be selected into the 2025 Super Series.

Moving into May and Youth, Junior and Senior triathletes, as well as paratriathletes are all in action in Llanelli on 10 May. Youth categories will compete over the super sprint distance while Juniors, Seniors and paratriathletes will compete over the sprint distance.

In June, the action moves to Scotland for the Youth and Junior triathletes as they compete in a multi race aquathlon event in Lochore on 22 June. This will be the only opportunity for the athletes to compete in the aquathlon in the 2025 Super Series, and this weekend also doubles up as the British Elite Aquathlon Championships, which is only open to Super Series athletes. On the same day in Cardiff, the paratriathletes will take centre stage as they compete over the super sprint triathlon distance in the capital city of Wales with an event hosted by Always Aim High.

One week later on the weekend of 28 and 29 June, Mallory Park hosts a multi-event triathlon weekend for the Youth, Junior and Senior triathletes.

As we move into July and the weather heats up, so does the action, as the Super Series visits Bristol on 6 July for what promises to be an exciting sprint triathlon for the Youth B, Juniors and Seniors triathletes, based in and around Bristol Harbour. This new stop on the Super Series circuit hosted by ATW is sure to provide thrilling racing for both athletes and spectators alike.

A week later the paratriathletes are back at the home of the London 2012 rowing events at Eton Dorney for a super sprint event on 12 July and the Youth, Junior and Senior triathletes will be visiting the same venue on August 24 for a Triple Mix Eliminator event.

The Super Series comes to an exciting conclusion at the Grand Final at Mallory Park on the weekend of 13 and 14 September where extra points will be awarded as we crown the British Triathlon Super Series champions for both Youth and Junior categories. The event also doubles up as the British Elite Championships for both Youth and Junior levels. A mixed relay for the Youth and Junior categories will take place over the same weekend as well as an event for paratriathletes.

The final weekend for the para athletes is on 19 October with the Duathlon event taking place at Oulton Park, an event which doubles up as the British Paraduathlon Championships.

The venue and date for the British Elite Championships for the Seniors will be confirmed soon.
