The series offers British triathletes and paratriathletes the chance to showcase their talents in regular competitive events throughout the season. More than 400 British Youth, Junior and Senior triathletes and paratriathletes will compete from March to September in order to be crowned Super Series Champion. In an exciting development for 2026, a leg of the Senior Super Series will be part of the Supertri Pro Series, with athletes competing against elite triathletes from across the world at Supertri Blenheim Palace in June.
The season in full
The season starts on 29 March with the para athletes competing at Oulton Park in the north west of England where the event will also double up as the British Sprint Distance Paraduathlon Championships.
For Youth and Junior triathletes, the season kicks off with the two-day Performance Assessments weekend on 18 and 19 April. Racing over two days, the swim part of the race takes place at the University of Nottingham before the bike and run legs are completed the next day at Kendrew Barracks. All age groups will complete a 400 metre swim on the Saturday, followed by a 10km bike ride and 3km run on the Sunday. Any Senior athletes that haven’t met the automatic selection criteria, need to attend in order to be selected into the 2026 Super Series.
Moving into May and Youth, Junior and Senior triathletes, as well as Paratriathletes are all in action in Llanelli on 9 May. Youth categories will compete over the super sprint distance while Juniors, Seniors and paratriathletes will compete over the sprint distance. This promises to an incredibly exciting race as it acts as an Under 23 European Championships Qualifier as well as deciding the Senior British Elite Champions for 2026.
The next stop on the calendar is an exciting first as the Super Series will be part of the inaugural Supertri Blenheim Palace race on 7 June. The event gives senior athletes the opportunity to race alongside world class athletes from the Supertri all star athlete roster, compete for prize money and aim to qualify for the Supertri Pro Series Final. The race will be held over the sprint distance and promises to be a highlight of the 2026 season.
Later in the month, the Para athletes will be back in action at the Dambuster race at Rutland Water in the East Midlands on 21 June. Wheelchair athletes will compete in an aquabike event with all other categories competing in a sprint paratriathlon. On the same day, we go north of the border to Lochore Meadows where the Youth and Junior athletes will be competing in a multi race aquathlon event.
There’s no let up as a week later on 28 and 29 June, Youth, Junior and Senior athletes head to Mallory Park where as well as Super Series points, the race also acts Qualifiers for the European Youth and the World Under 23 Championships.
It’s a busy second weekend of July as events take place on consecutive days. The Para athletes head to iconic Eton Dorney on 11 July for a sprint distance race which doubles up as the British Paratriathlon Championships. There is also a Super Sprint Triathlon option. The next day, Junior and Senior athletes head to Bristol on 12 July for a sprint race in and around the harbour. For Juniors, this race is a qualifier for the European Junior Championships.
At the end of August, the series heads back to Mallory Park on 29 and 30 August where all categories will be taking part in what will be the Grand Final for the Youth, Junior and Paratriathletes. Winners on the day in the Youth and Junior categories will also be crowned British Champions for 2026. The event also serves as a qualifier for the World Junior Championships so there will be plenty at stake for the athletes involved.
On the same weekend, the next generation of British talent will be on display as the event plays host to the Inter Regional Championships. These are the National Championships for Tristar 2 and Tristar 3 athletes, with only the best from each region selected to compete.
After a fantastic event last year, the final event of the season, sees the Senior athletes head back to Bala in Wales on 6 September for their Grand Final. With extra points on offer, the sprint race offers the last opportunity of the season to climb the rankings and become 2026 Super Series champion!
