The opening event of the British Triathlon Paratri Super Series is now less than three weeks away with entries already open for the series opening British Paraduathlon Championships.
Being hosted at Prestwold Hall, near Loughborough, on Sunday 3 April, the British Paraduathlon Championships will not only provide athletes with their first opportunity to claim 2022 Super Series points, but also the chance of starting the year by being crowned British champion.
The duathlon event will take place across the super sprint distance, with athletes starting with a 2.5k run, before a 10k bike and then a final 1.25k run to the finish line. The British Paraduathlon Championships return for the first time since 2019 and next month’s event will once again see some of Great Britain’s best paratriathletes and brightest paratriathlon talent compete for the British title in each classification.

The Paratriathlon events in the 2022 British Triathlon Super Series are open to all paratriathletes, whether they have a classification or not. This is to open up the racing and ensure that classification opportunities are not a barrier to competing in events.
The British Paraduathlon Championships will be followed by Paratri events in Llanelli (14 May), Eton Dorney (16 July), Swansea (6 August) and the Grand Final in Sunderland (20-21 August).
