Paratri Super Series Kicks Off World Triathlon Para Series Swansea


The third round of the 2024 British Paratri Super Series started a day of paratriathlon action in Swansea.

Here we look at who made the podium in each category.


Oliver Scott claimed his second win of the season in the Open PTS5 category. He exited the water in first place and held onto his lead throughout the bike and run legs. Tom Barnard was second as he added to his win last time out in Llanelli. Florian Combe made up the podium with another third-place finish, his third in as many races.


Michael Fox made it back-to-back Super Series wins as he added to the gold medal he won in Llanelli. He was quickest across all three legs to claim victory by almost two minutes. Colin Wallace, who won the season opener at Oulton Park, was next over the line to take second place. Josh Garrett finished third in his first Super Series race of the season.

Shona Brownlee was the winner in the female race.


Ethan Dent added to his victory at Oulton Park with another win in the Open PTS2 category.


Nathanial Costigan and his guide picked up another win, building on their victory at Llanelli in round two. Matthew Thorn was second with his guide in their first Super Series race of the season. Harry Hughes and his guide, who were second at Oulton Park back in round one, were the next duo over the line to complete the podium.

In the female race Sophie Green and her guide made it two wins from as many races as they added to their Oulton Park victory.  


Darren Williams claimed victory in the wheelchair category, adding to the third place finish he picked up in Llanelli last time out. James Bilham finished second in what was his first paratriathlon race.
